اصطبِرْBe patient للزَّمانِwith time إِنif حافَit acts unjustly حِينَاfor a while
اصطبِرْ للزَّمانِ إِن حافَ حِينَا
أوor تَلقَّاكَit confronts you بالمَخاوِفِwith terrors حِينَاfor a while
أو تَلقَّاكَ بالمَخاوِفِ حِينَا
Be patient with time if it wrongs you for a while,
Be patient with time, if it befalls you harm for a while,
Or confronts you with terrors for a while.
Or if it frightens you with fears for a while.
إنَّindeed صبرَpatience الكلِيمِMoses, God's interlocutor وهوwhile he was طَريدُhounded الْthe
إنَّ صبرَ الكلِيمِ وهو طَريدُ الْ
خَوفِfear أفضَىled بِهِwith him إلىto طُورِMount سينَاSinai
خَوفِ أفضَى بِهِ إلى طُورِ سينَا
Indeed, the patience of Moses, God's interlocutor, while he was hounded by
Verily the patience of the resolute one, though hounded by fear,
fear, led him to Mount Sinai.
Led him to the mount of Sinai.
