فقد سَايَرْتَ ظِلَّكَ في الطّرِيقِ

فإن لم تلقَ إنساناً سِواهُ

فإن لم تلقَ إنساناً سِواهُ

تُرافِقُهُ فأنتَ بلاَ رَفِيقِ

And if you meet no one other than him

If you do not find anyone other than him

to accompany, then you are without a companion.
