لَنا هَجمةٌ للحقِّ إن نابَ والقِرى

لَنا هَجمةٌ للحقِّ إن نابَ والقِرى

وللجارِ ما تَنْفَكَّ نَهباً مقَسَّمَا

وللجارِ ما تَنْفَكَّ نَهباً مقَسَّمَا

We have a herd of camels for obligations when they arise, and for hospitality,

We have an attack for truth, if it turns against settlements and villages

And for the neighbor; it is ever booty shared out.

And for the neighbor whatever does not cease to be apportioned plunder

إذا هي لم يَعْجَل إلى الضيفِ دَرُّها

إذا هي لم يَعْجَل إلى الضيفِ دَرُّها

أدرَّ اليماني من عَراقِبها الدَّما

أدرَّ اليماني من عَراقِبها الدَّما

If its milk does not hasten to the guest,

If it does not hasten to the guest its goodness
