My bed is the guest’s bed, and the house is his.
My bed is the bed of the guest and my house is his house
And no veiled gazelle has distracted me from him.
Though a veiled gazelle has not kept me from him,
أُحَدِّثُهُI converse with him إِنَّindeed الحَديثَconversation مِنَpart of القِرىhospitality

I converse with him; indeed, conversation is part of hospitality.
I converse with him though conversation is from the villages
And my soul knows that he will fall asleep.
And my soul knows he will soon depart.
