O my two friends, my sickness visited me today,
O my beloved, today my sickness has returned
and its malady wore away my bones, to my doom,
And its severity has spread through my bones

because of a stubborn one who persisted and grew arrogant today,
Because of one who insisted and became arrogant
and thought turning away was no injustice.
And thought that being aloof was not an injustice

He turned away deliberately, and incurred, when he turned from me,
He purposefully turned away, so he failed when he turned away from me
O my friend, his sin and mine.
O my beloved, because of his sin and because of my sin

You who joins us are flawless, do not blame me

Or you say, you have not stopped composing poetry
you disclosed it to the people, though you gave no name.'
Until you have revealed yourself to people, though you were not named

You are of the refined essence from a lineage
at glory's heights, between a maternal uncle and a paternal uncle.
Of the progeny of glory between maternal and paternal uncles
