أَيا رَبِّ لا آلو المَوَدَّةَ جاهِداً
لِأَسماءَfor Asma فَاِصنَعso do بيwith me الَّذيwhat أَنتَYou صانِعُwill do
لِأَسماءَ فَاِصنَع بي الَّذي أَنتَ صانِعُ
O my Lord, I strive unstintingly in my love
O Lord I do not ask of love, striving
For Asma; so do with me what You will.
For Layla, so do with me what you will do
