O my heart, is there anything to hold you back from Humayda?

Or will you remember modesty and be patient?

For the heart is pained by the memory of Humayda,

And tears flow down, and my tears are lukewarm,

Until there appeared to me, from Humayda, my beloved,

    A parting—and I had been dreading separation.
