يَعتَري المُعتَفينَ فَضلُ نَداكا

A flowing river and a lofty house,

A flowing river and a lofty home

Your abundant bounty reaches those who seek it,

Your bounty graces the destitute

في بَراحٍ مِنَ المَكارِمِ جَزلٍ

في بَراحٍ مِنَ المَكارِمِ جَزلٍ

لَم تُعَلِقهُم بِلَقطِ حَصاكا

لَم تُعَلِقهُم بِلَقطِ حَصاكا

In a rich, open expanse of noble deeds;

In open spaces full of generous deeds

You have not kept them busy gathering your pebbles.

You did not snare them with collected pebbles

لا نَخافُ المُحولَ إِن هَرَشَ

لا نَخافُ المُحولَ إِن هَرَشَ

الدَهرُ وَلا نَنتَوي لِأَهلٍ سِواكا

الدَهرُ وَلا نَنتَوي لِأَهلٍ سِواكا

We fear no droughts, even if we face the fury of

We do not fear misfortune if time wears away

Time; nor do we make for any household but yours.

Nor do we intend for anyone but you
