أَلبِسِ الماءَ المُداما

أَلبِسِ الماءَ المُداما

وَاِسقِني حَتّى أَناما

وَاِسقِني حَتّى أَناما

Clothe the water in wine,

Dress me with flowing water,

And give me drink until I sleep.

Quench my thirst until I sleep,

وَأَفضي جودَكَ في النا

وَأَفضي جودَكَ في النا

سِ تَكُن فيهِم أَماما

سِ تَكُن فيهِم أَماما

And pour forth your generosity among the peo-

Be generous amongst people,

And you will lead amongst them,

لَعَنَ اللَهُ أَخا البُخ

لِ وَإِن صَلّى وَصاما
