اللَهُ يَحفَظُهُ وَيَجمَعُ بَينَنا

اللَهُ يَحفَظُهُ وَيَجمَعُ بَينَنا

رَبٌّ قَريبٌ لِلدُعاءِ مُجيبُ

رَبٌّ قَريبٌ لِلدُعاءِ مُجيبُ

May God protect him and bring us together—

a Lord who is near and answers prayer.

يا طيبَ عَيشٍ كُنتُ فيهِ وَسَيِّدي

يا طيبَ عَيشٍ كُنتُ فيهِ وَسَيِّدي

نُسقى بِكَأسٍ وَالجَنابُ خَصيبُ

نُسقى بِكَأسٍ وَالجَنابُ خَصيبُ

O the sweetness of a life I lived with my lord:

we were served drink from a cup, and the surroundings were lush.
