صَرَمَت أَسماءُ حَبلي فَاِنصَرَم

صَرَمَت أَسماءُ حَبلي فَاِنصَرَم

ظَلَمَتنا كُلُّ مَن شاءَ ظَلَم

ظَلَمَتنا كُلُّ مَن شاءَ ظَلَم

Asma cut my cord, and it broke.

The ropes have torn apart, and all is broken

She wronged us; all who wished to wrong us did.

Darkness overcame us, all who wished caused darkness

وَاِستَحَلَّت قَتلَنا عامِدَةً

وَاِستَحَلَّت قَتلَنا عامِدَةً

وَتَجَنَّت عِلَلاً لَم تُجتَرَم

وَتَجَنَّت عِلَلاً لَم تُجتَرَم

And she deliberately deemed it lawful to kill us.

And killing us was made lawful intentionally

And she fabricated pretexts based on offenses never committed.

While the causes of death were fabricated unjustly
