So do not bury me, for my grave is forbidden
So do not bury me, for my burial is forbidden

When they strike my head—and in the head lies most of me—
When they strike my head—and in the head is most of me—
and there, at the battlefield, the rest of me is left behind.
and the rest of me is left there at the clash,

as long as nights endure, doomed for my offenses.
