The branch aspired to be compared with my stature.

حُسْن حُورِيّةٍ بجنَّة خُلْد
I am a human woman, and yet my beauty
I am a human but my beauty
is a houri’s beauty in a garden of eternity.
Is the beauty of a heavenly houri in paradise

لحظُها رقَّة مع الماء جلْدِي
Were eyes to gaze upon me, then would
If eyes would look upon me, they would melt
their glance make my skin, in its delicacy, flow with the water.
Their gaze is as delicate as water on my skin

God created me and chose me when
He fashioned me, peerless in beauty, for a peerless one.
He created me as the epitome of beauty
