Rise, lad, and bring it cooled by the north wind;
Arise, O youth, and bring it here perfumed,
In it, souls find relief from cares.
Within it souls from worries are delighted,

And pass among us, in the glass, a wine
And pass around in a glass some coffee,
Red, the sun of whose radiance never sets.
Red sun whose rays never set,

Hasten with it while time is gentle, for it is
Make haste with it, for time is fickle,
A time that is fickle toward its children.
An age on its sons ever turning.
