سألتُ حبَّك إذ أخلصتُ ظاهرَه

سألتُ حبَّك إذ أخلصتُ ظاهرَه

لديك ثم صَفَتْ عندي سَرِيرتُه

لديك ثم صَفَتْ عندي سَرِيرتُه

I questioned my love for you, when I had made its outward expression sincere

I asked for your love when I was true to its appearance

before you; then its inner nature grew pure within me.

Then withdrew into myself and refined its nature

فقلت بَلِّغه ما أخلصتُ منك له

فقلت بَلِّغه ما أخلصتُ منك له

فقال قد أنبأتْهُ بي طويّتُه

فقال قد أنبأتْهُ بي طويّتُه

So I said, “Tell him what I have sincerely devoted of you to him.”

So I said "Tell him how true I was to him through you"

It replied, “His innermost heart has already told him of me.”

And it said "I have already told him in the folds of my being"
