I have accepted the judgment of fate ordained of old,
I accept the decree of destiny's foreordained will
even though it has come to cloud my water's clarity.
Though it may embitter the purity of my days

Can the people of this earth unravel
a knot bound from above heaven?
A knot tied from above the sky?

How far will events demolish my pillar
and pelt me with injustice and aggression?
And strike me with injustice and aggression?

Seeking to harm me, I'd stain him with blood

My life is spent among slanderers or the envious,
My life is between a slanderer or an envier
and informers against me who delight in my prolonged affliction.
And one who gloats at the length of my misery

So if a wrongdoer spreads lies against me,
So if a liar slanders me out of malice
then patience with what is destined and decreed!
I'll have patience for fate and destiny
