I embraced her on the day of parting, while her tears
I embraced her on the day of parting, while her tears

Flowed down, and her heart pounded.

And her tongue was mute, yet love had
Her tongue was silent, but for love,
A mouth and a tongue in the tears of her eye.
In the tears of her eyelids there was a mouth and tongue.

And they poured the water of their eyes, so it flowed on
Those cheeks as though it were pure gold.
Those cheeks, as if it were 'Aqyan.
