سلامُ اللّه ما طلعتْ نجومٌ

سلامُ اللّه ما طلعتْ نجومٌ

وما غارتْ عَلَى المَلكِ الهُمامِ

وما غارتْ عَلَى المَلكِ الهُمامِ

God’s peace, as long as stars rise,

The peace of God, the stars have not risen

And as long as they set, be upon the valiant king,

And grief has not overcome the brave king

ومَن عَظُمَتْ مَناقِبهُ وجَلَّتْ

ومَن عَظُمَتْ مَناقِبهُ وجَلَّتْ

فما تُحصَى على سَعةِ الكلام

فما تُحصَى على سَعةِ الكلام

And upon him whose virtues are great and exalted,

Whose glories are mighty, exalted and vast

So they cannot be counted, for all the breadth of speech.

They cannot be counted, so great their fame
