And a clever, favored old woman,
A countrywoman, was casting cheese

Into a mold with a wicker basket for its base.
Then it appeared, white and rounded,

أعذَبَ مِن رِيق حبيب بُنّهْ
Like the full moon when it shone in the darkness,
Sweeter than the saliva of Bunnah’s beloved.

بَرَزْنَ مِنْ حُورِ نِساءِ الجَنّهْ
And around her were graceful maidens, as though they
Had emerged from among the fair-eyed women of Paradise.

They shoot, from the kohl of their eyes,
Sidelong glances sharper than spearheads.

They were made slender until they became like reins.
They walk swaying, their buttocks swaying heavily.
