زمنٌ منقضٍ وعمرٌ قصيرُ

زمنٌ منقضٍ وعمرٌ قصيرُ

وحياة الغُفُول عنه غرورُ

Time is passing away, and a lifetime is brief;

Time is passing away, and life is short.

the life of those heedless of its passing is but delusion.

And a life spent heedless of it is delusion.

فاتق الله إن أردت نجاة

إنّ تقوى الإله فوزٌ كبير

So be mindful of God, if you seek salvation;
