تقول اعرفوا قدري وقولوا لعاشقي
Upon the lips of the one I love, the myrtle has a sign,
On the lips of my beloved a mark appears
Saying: “Know my worth, and tell my lover,
Saying, "Know my worth and tell those who pine,

يريه جمال الآس بين الشقائق
When the proud rose boasts of its beauty,
When the narcissus boasts of its beauty
To show it the beauty of myrtle among the anemones.”
The lily shows it the charm of thorns between flowers."
