To the tomb of a man of Austrian stock, whose faith

Is the faith of the Latins, O son of glory, turn aside.

And shed tears upon a skilled physician.

His hands were never fettered, nor was he disagreeable.

We weep for him with anguish and sorrow,

While he is exultant at his triumph and jubilant.

And piety's hand has recorded his date: he ascended, so Yu-

hanna Siyon was blessed with a delightful paradise.
