أصبح حياً في جنان النعيم
Tell whoever mourned one who died:
Tell those who mourn the departed
He is now alive in the gardens of bliss.
He lives in gardens of bliss
ماnot صفوةSafwat الخوريal-Khuri إلّاexcept فتىًa young man
ما صفوة الخوري إلّا فتىً
متعهgranted him enjoyment اللَهGod بفوزٍwith a triumph عظيمgreat
متعه اللَه بفوزٍ عظيم
Safwat al-Khuri is but a young man
Al-Khawari was but a youth
whom God has blessed with a great triumph.
Whom God graced with great triumph
خولهgranted him اللَهGod ديارabodes البقاeternity
خوله اللَه ديار البقا
لماwhen أتىcame to اللَهGod بقلبٍwith a heart سليمsound
لما أتى اللَه بقلبٍ سليم
God has granted him the abodes of eternity
God granted him realms of eternity
when he came to God with a sound heart.
For coming to God with a pure heart
