O you through whom God doubled honor's glory,
O you whom God has granted the honor of nobility
The ruling on grape drink boiled down to a third is no secret among people.
The rule of the triangle is not hidden from people
مهدprepare لناfor us العذرthe excuse فيconcerning ماwhat نحنwe نشربهwe drink it
مهد لنا العذر في ما نحن نشربه
فالدرfor al-Durr يشهدbears witness فيconcerning ماجوَّزwhat he permitted الحنفيthe Hanafi
فالدر يشهد في ماجوَّز الحنفي
Provide us an excuse for what we drink,
He paved the way of excuse for what we are drinking
For al-Durr bears witness to what the Hanafi permitted.
So the pearl bears witness to what Hanafi has permitted
