Najib, son of Bulad, made tears flow as blood
Najeeb, Ibn Boulad's son, shed tears of blood
When he was laid to rest and the garden of youth came to nothing.
When the garden of youth withered to nothingness

سامى بها ولجنات النعيم سما
And after his body wasted away, he attained forgiveness;
And after his body grew frail, he attained forgiveness
Through it he rose in honor, and ascended to the gardens of bliss.
That raised him to the heights of paradise

So record the date of triumph in Paradise, my son:
So rejoice, my son, in your triumph in heaven
The best of physicians has healed you, dazzling the wise.
