مولاي أنت لأعياد الورى عيد

مولاي أنت لأعياد الورى عيد

وللصدارة أنت الهام والجيد

وللصدارة أنت الهام والجيد

My lord, you are a festival for humankind's festivals.

My Master, you are the festival of the people

And you are the head and neck of the chief ministership.

And the best and most auspicious leader

وأنت ماحي حروف الجور أجمعها

وأنت ماحي حروف الجور أجمعها

ففي النديم حساب العدل معدود

ففي النديم حساب العدل معدود

And you erase all the letters of injustice.

You erase the letters of injustice altogether

For in Nadim, the sum of justice is reckoned.

So the account of justice is prepared in the companion

فلا أزالك عن دست العلى وهنٌ

فلا أزالك عن دست العلى وهنٌ

ولا عداك بعون اللَه تأييد

ولا عداك بعون اللَه تأييد

So may no weakness remove you from the throne of eminence.

So I do not remove you from the high position

And, with God's help, may support never pass you by.

And except you, no one is aided by Allah's help

ودمت صدراً ترى الدنيا مؤرخةً

ودمت صدراً ترى الدنيا مؤرخةً

مجدي بفضل نديم الملك محمود

مجدي بفضل نديم الملك محمود

And may you remain chief minister, seeing the world record this chronogram:

And you remained a leader, seeing the world recorded

My glory, through the favor of the king's Nadim, is praised.
