صح في جهله حساب الكسور

O you who take the most foolish of priests as your guide:

O follower of the most foolish priest,

even in his ignorance, his reckoning of fractions came out right.

The reckoning of fractions proved correct in his ignorance.

لا تصح الصلاة خلف إمامٍ

لا تصح الصلاة خلف إمامٍ

ضل عن طاعة الإمام الكبير

ضل عن طاعة الإمام الكبير

No prayer is valid behind your imam

Prayer is not valid behind an imam

who has strayed from obedience to the supreme Imam.

Who strayed from obedience to the great imam.

فاتق اللَه وازجر النفس عما

فاتق اللَه وازجر النفس عما

قادها للهلاك قود البعير

قادها للهلاك قود البعير

So fear God, and restrain the soul from whatever

So fear God and restrain your soul from what

has driven it to destruction as a camel is driven.

Led it to destruction as a camel is led.

وامح سخط الإله يا صاح بالتو

وامح سخط الإله يا صاح بالتو

بة ينقذك من عذاب السعير

بة ينقذك من عذاب السعير

And wipe away God's wrath, my friend, through repen—

And erase God's wrath, O friend, through repen-

tance; He will save you from the torment of the Blaze.
