And made obligatory for the two abodes a right and sanctity,
neither slighting the first nor wronging the other.
So he did not diminish the first nor oppressed the last.

He who compared his right hand to the sea disparaged him,
He confounded the one who equated his oath with the sea,
and he who equated Sirius with his brow went astray.
And went astray, the one who equated his young camel with Canopus.

For our lord's brow is none but the brow of guidance,
The young camel of the Master is not but the young camel of guidance,
and his hand is none but the hand of supreme mercy.
And his hand is none other than the hand of great mercy.

From the red banner in es-Sa'dah es-Samraa.

Our praise is not that of a man versed in hypocrisy,
And our praise is not the praise of one who knows pretense,
but that of a man unacquainted with treachery,
But it is the praise of one who is ignorant of guile.

Whenever He wills, to attain comprehension of his noble traits.
