عف الردا لم يحد عن طاعة الأحد
I would ransom you, a lord of lofty standing and honor,
I sacrifice myself for the Exalted Master of great glory
Pure of cloak, who has not strayed from obedience to the One.
Relenting not from obeying anyone

في الليل شمس الضحى في دارة الأسد
The abode of glory gleams with his radiance, so we see
The Upper House glows with his light so we see
At night, the forenoon sun within the Lion's circle.
In the night the sun of morning in the Lion's abode

وقال للروح تقديم على الجسد
He nourished my last spark of life with his tenderness before the meal,
My spirit was enlightened by his radiance before all others
And said, "The soul takes precedence over the body."
And he said to the soul take precedence over the body

You remain Alexander of the world and have not ceased
Your fragrance keep reviving every thirsty soul with kindness.
