ما عَلى مَن باحَ مِن حَرَجٍ
مِثلthe like of ماwhat بيis within me لَيسَis not يَنكتِمُconcealed
مِثل ما بي لَيسَ يَنكتِمُ
There is no blame on one who speaks openly.
No blame is on one who speaks out
A feeling like mine cannot be concealed.
What's in me I cannot conceal
زَعَمواthey claimed أَنَّنيthat I أُحِبّكُمI love you (plural)
زَعَموا أَنَّني أُحِبّكُم
وَغَراميand my passion فَوقَbeyond ماwhat زَعَمواthey claimed
وَغَرامي فَوقَ ما زَعَموا
They claimed that I love you.
They claimed that I love you
And my passion exceeds what they claimed.
But my passion's beyond their claims
