Sol 6.1

  1. أَنا في كَفِّ مَن بِهِ تَفخَرُ الأَر

    ضُ وَتَسمو عَلى السَماواتِ قَدرا

    I am in the palm of one in whom the earth takes pride

    and rises above the heavens in rank.

  2. أَنا مِن وَجهِهِ أُقابِلُ شَمساً

    أَنا مِن ثَغرِهِ أُقَبِّلُ دُرّاً

    In his face I behold a sun;

    at his mouth I kiss pearls.

  3. أَنا مِن نَشرِهِ وَطيبِ سَجايا

    هُ أَفوتُ العَبيرَ طيباً وَنَشراً

    I, through his fragrance and the sweetness of his nature,

    surpass perfume in sweetness and scent.

  4. وَكَأَنّي مِن بَأسِهِ وَعَطايا

    راحَتَيهِ جاوَرتُ لَيثاً وَبَحراً

    And it is as though, through his might and the gifts

    of his two palms, I have dwelt beside a lion and a sea.

  5. زِدتُّ تيهاً بِهِ عَلى كُلِّ مَلبو

    سٍ وَفَخراً فَزادَهُ اللَهُ فَخرا

    Through him I surpassed every garment in pride

    and glory; so may God increase his glory.
