حُسْنُ لِباسِ الفتى يدُلُّ على
مُروءَةٍnobility of character طَبْعُهhis nature بهاwith it زَاهِيradiant
مُروءَةٍ طَبْعُه بها زَاهِي
The fineness of a young man's clothing points to
The youth's fine garb bespeaks
nobility of character, with which his nature shines.
His innate nobility blooming.
فبِزَّةُfor the attire المرءِthe man فيin تَجَمُّلِهِhis self-adornment
فبِزَّةُ المرءِ في تَجَمُّلِهِ
عليْهupon him عُنْوانُa sign نِعمةِblessing اللّهِGod
عليْه عُنْوانُ نِعمةِ اللّهِ
For a man's attire, when he adorns himself,
For a man's elegance in his finery
is a sign of God's blessing upon him.
Proclaims God's bounty upon him.
