ما زَلْزَلَةٌ لها سقوطُ الإِيوانْ

إذْ حان قُدُومُ فَخْرِ نوعِ الإنْسانْ

إذْ حان قُدُومُ فَخْرِ نوعِ الإنْسانْ

The earthquake that brought the iwan down,

No quake like the fall of the palace hall

when the arrival of the pride of humankind was at hand,

When the glory of humankind is set to call

إلاّ لِمَسَرَّةٍ تَهُزُّ الأكْوانْ

إلاّ لِمَسَرَّةٍ تَهُزُّ الأكْوانْ

إذْ بَشَّرها به اخْتِلاجُ الأعْيانْ

إذْ بَشَّرها به اخْتِلاجُ الأعْيانْ
