فاستشفع الحر واسأله بما ومنى

My lord, thanks for the relief through which I have risen.

My Lord, I thank you for the relief you have granted

So seek the noble man's intercession, and ask him for what you desire and hope for.

So implore the free man, and ask him for what I wished

واعضض عليه وعش في رفعة وغنى

واعضض عليه وعش في رفعة وغنى

وانعم بعيش هني نلته بهن

وانعم بعيش هني نلته بهن

And bite firmly on it, and live in high station and wealth.

Support him, and live in dignity and wealth

And enjoy a pleasant life that you attained through them.

And enjoy a pleasant life you have gained through him
