رَوضُgarden المُنَىof hopes أيْدِيhands الأمانيof wishes بهin it
رَوضُ المُنَى أيْدِي الأماني به
كمhow often قدindeed جَرَتْdrew forth ليfor me ثمرَاًfruit مُسْتطَابْdelectable
كم قد جَرَتْ لي ثمرَاً مُسْتطَابْ
In the garden of hopes, the hands of wishes
The garden of wishes, my dreams wander in it,
Have so often brought me delectable fruit.
How much delicious fruit it has yielded for me.
ماwhat لَذَّةُdelight الدنياof the world إذاif لمnot أكُنI am
ما لَذَّةُ الدنيا إذا لم أكُن
أخْطِرI strut فيهاin it بِردَاءِin the mantle الشَّبابْof youth
أخْطِر فيها بِردَاءِ الشَّبابْ
What delight is there in the world if I am not
No pleasure in life if I cannot
Strutting through it in the mantle of youth?
Don it with the robe of youth.
