فَتَّانِ ذُو الحُسْنِ الغَزِيرِ
He stole sleep with his gaze—the
The dream stole with its flirtatious glance,
bewitching—he of abundant beauty.
Of abundant beauty and charm intense,
طِرَازُornament حُسْنِbeauty حاذِقٍskilled
طِرَازُ حُسْنِ حاذِقٍ
طَرَّsnatched القلوبَthe hearts منfrom الصُّدورِthe breasts
طَرَّ القلوبَ من الصُّدورِ
A masterful ornament of beauty,
Touch of a connoisseur of elegance,
he snatched hearts from breasts.
That escaped hearts right out of their fence.
