لَدَى الأزَماتِ فهْو على اشْتِراطِ
And a patron whose two hands showered rain
And one who rains blessings from his palms
In times of crisis—he is subject to a condition.
In times of crisis, he is ever true
ومَنand whoever يُحْسِنْdoes good وقدwhile already فاتhas passed احْتِياجٌneed

كمن يقْضِي الصَّلاةَ على الصِّراطِ
And whoever does good when need has already passed
He who does good when the need has passed
Is like one who makes up the prayer upon the Ṣirāṭ.
Is like one who prays on the Bridge's span
