نِيرانُ فارسَ انْطَفَتْ لمّا بَدَتْ

بُشْرَى النُّبُوَّةِ ساطِعاً بُرْهانُهَا

بُشْرَى النُّبُوَّةِ ساطِعاً بُرْهانُهَا

The fires of Persia were extinguished when there appeared

When prophethood's good tidings shone clear

the glad tidings of prophethood, its proof shining bright.

The Magi's fires were extinguished in fear

سجَدتْ لِنِيرانِ المَجُوسِ عِصابةٌ

سجَدتْ لِنِيرانِ المَجُوسِ عِصابةٌ

سجَدتْ لأنْوارِ الهُدَى نِيرانُهَا

سجَدتْ لأنْوارِ الهُدَى نِيرانُهَا

A band bowed down to the fires of the Magians;

While their band did prostrate and revere

its fires bowed down to the lights of guidance.

The fires of guidance bowed in good cheer
