ياO ربLord إنindeed الظالمينthe wrongdoers بغواthey transgressed
يا رب إن الظالمين بغوا
فلبغيهمso, because of their oppression فيin القلبthe heart تجريحwounding
فلبغيهم في القلب تجريح
O Lord, the wrongdoers have transgressed;
O Lord, the oppressors have transgressed
So their oppression leaves wounds in the heart.
So make their hearts ache with wounds
فاجعلso make بحقّكَby Your right جمعَthe gathering of شملهمُtheir company
فاجعل بحقّكَ جمعَ شملهمُ
كرمادٍlike ashes اشتدتblew fiercely بهupon it الريحthe wind
كرمادٍ اشتدت به الريح
So, by Your right, make their gathered company
By Your truth, reunite them
Like ashes upon which the wind blows fiercely.
Like ashes scattered by the wind's rage
