My lord, I have posed a riddle about what took my moon’s place,
My Lord, You have inspired about my moon's absence
In neck, and mirrored the blackness in the corners of his eyes.
A neck gracefully depicting darkness in its horizons

One part is a lām that mimicked his sidelock—may it never die;
Some blamed the tale though its past died away
And its remainder has raided part of it in God’s cause.
And some waged holy war, their remainder persists
