Glory to Him who bestowed an army of words
Glory to Him who led the troops of speech
Upon Nizam al-Din, alone among humankind.

يزين ذاك الدر إلا النظام
For the speech of the learned is pearls, and nothing
For the words of the learned are pearls, but
Adorns those pearls but their stringing.
Those pearls are made fair by order alone.
