  1. عنى البدرى بالرزق الذي

    لم يكن سيق إليه عبثا

    Al-Badri concerned himself with the sustenance that

    had not been brought to him in vain.

  2. من حلال ورث الأرزاق لا

    من مديح وهجاء ورثا

    He inherited his provisions from lawful sources, not

    from praise, satire, and elegy.
