فَاجْرِ بِالبِرّ عَادَةَ الخَضرِ

من نَجَاحِ السماحْ

So uphold al-Khidr's custom with kindness,

Make virtue your habit like the green

through generosity's success;

From the success of tolerance

فَثَنَائِي عَلَى عُلاَكَ حَرِي

فَثَنَائِي عَلَى عُلاَكَ حَرِي

بِضَمَانِ النَّجَاحْ

بِضَمَانِ النَّجَاحْ

For my praise of your eminence is worthy

So my praise of your highness is right

of a guarantee of success.
