O my Lord, O my succor, O He!

And O You, besides whom the hopeful have no one,

And O One, far above having any partner,

And O King, exalted in Your loftiness,

I have called upon You, O Answerer of Noah's prayer,

And Jonah's, when he called upon Him with his prayer,

By the mighty name in the Tablet,

And by the wise Reminder and whoever recited it,

And by the Ancient House and those who circle it,

And by the great mountain and whoever ascended it,

And by noble Jerusalem and its visitors,

And by the noble tomb and what it contains.

Answer me by Your name, O God, my Lord,

For You answer the distressed who calls upon You.

And take me by the hand, by the honor of Taha, the light,

For You are the cure for one whose healing has proved elusive.

And treat me gently, and pardon me,

And plot against whoever plotted against me, and magnify his affliction.

And tear his skin and cut off both his hands,

And pull out his tongue and burn his entrails,

And confound his mind and strip away his reason,

And change his state and prolong his suffering,

And scatter his company and expose him openly,

Before the eyes of all creation, and mow down his bonds.

And send blessings upon Your Prophet, then bestow peace

Upon the Companions, O my succor, O He!
