يَاO أرْحَمَmost merciful الراحمينَthe merciful ارْحمْhave mercy وَجُدْand be generous كَرَماًgenerously
يَا أرْحَمَ الراحمينَ ارْحمْ وَجُدْ كَرَماً
فَأنْتَfor You أنْتَYou أمَانُthe refuge of الخَائِفِthe fearful one الوَجِلِthe trembling one
فَأنْتَ أنْتَ أمَانُ الخَائِفِ الوَجِلِ
O most merciful of the merciful, have mercy and give generously.
O most Merciful of those who show mercy, have mercy and be generous,
For You—You are the refuge of the fearful, trembling one.
For You, You are the refuge of the fearful, anxious one.
واغفرand forgive بطهَby Ta-Ha ذُنُوباًsins لَيْسَnot يغفرُهاforgives them
واغفر بطهَ ذُنُوباً لَيْسَ يغفرُها
إلاَّكَexcept You يَاO غَافرَForgiver of الأوْزَارِthe burdens of sin وَالْخَطَلِand foolish speech
إلاَّكَ يَا غَافرَ الأوْزَارِ وَالْخَطَلِ
And by Ta-Ha, forgive sins that none forgives
And forgive my sins, which none can forgive,
but You, O Forgiver of burdens of sin and foolish speech.
Except You, O Forgiver of burdens and mistakes.
وَنَجِّنِيand deliver me وَاعْفُand pardon عَنِّيme وَأتِنِيand grant me مِنَحاًgifts
وَنَجِّنِي وَاعْفُ عَنِّي وَأتِنِي مِنَحاً
تُنيلنِيbring me الفَوْزَsuccess فيin حِلّstaying وَمُرْتَحَلِand journeying
تُنيلنِي الفَوْزَ في حِلّ وَمُرْتَحَلِ
And deliver me, pardon me, and grant me gifts
Save me, pardon me, and grant me gifts,
that bring me success, at rest and on my journeys.
That will bring me success in every state and stage.
وَسَامحand pardon المسْلِمِينthe Muslims المؤمنينthe believers وَجُدْand be generous
وَسَامح المسْلِمِين المؤمنين وَجُدْ
بِالْعَفْوِwith forgiveness عَمَّاfor what جَنَوْاthey committed بِالقَوْلِin speech وَالعملand deed
بِالْعَفْوِ عَمَّا جَنَوْا بِالقَوْلِ وَالعمل
And pardon the believing Muslims, and be generous
And forgive the believing Muslims, be generous
with forgiveness for what they have committed in word and deed.
In pardoning what they have done in word and deed.
وَصَلّand bless رَبّO Lord عَلَىupon المُخْتَارِthe Chosen One منfrom مُضَرٍMudar
وَصَلّ رَبّ عَلَى المُخْتَارِ من مُضَرٍ
خيرthe best of النَّبِيينَthe prophets والأملاكand the angels وَالرسُلِand the messengers
خير النَّبِيينَ والأملاك وَالرسُلِ
And bless, O Lord, the Chosen One from Mudar,
And bless the chosen one from Mudar,
the best of prophets, angels, and messengers,
The best of Prophets, angels and messengers.
روحُthe spirit of العوَالمthe worlds سِرthe secret of الكونthe universe اجمعهall of it
روحُ العوَالم سِر الكون اجمعه
إكْسِيرُthe elixir of كنزِthe treasure of المعَالِيlofty virtues عِلَّةُthe cause of العِلَلِcauses
إكْسِيرُ كنزِ المعَالِي عِلَّةُ العِلَلِ
the spirit of the worlds, the secret of the entire universe,
The spirit of the worlds, secret of existence, gatherer of all,
the elixir of the treasure of lofty virtues, the cause of causes.
Elixir of the treasure of sublime traits, cause of all causes.
عَلَيْهِupon him صَلَّىmay bless إلهُthe God of العرشِthe Throne ماas long as اتَّضَحَتْbecame manifest
عَلَيْهِ صَلَّى إلهُ العرشِ ما اتَّضَحَتْ
آيَاتُthe signs of شَمْسِthe sun of الضحَىthe forenoon فِيin دَارَةِthe circle of الحَمَلِAries
آيَاتُ شَمْسِ الضحَى فِي دَارَةِ الحَمَلِ
Upon him may the God of the Throne bestow blessings, as long as

the signs of the forenoon sun appear in the circle of Aries,
The signs of the morning sun shone in the mansion of Aries.
وَإلِهِand his family الغُرّthe radiant ones وَالأصحَابand the companions مَاas long as خَطَرَتْswayed
وَإلِهِ الغُرّ وَالأصحَاب مَا خَطَرَتْ
مَعَاطِفُthe boughs of البَانِthe bān trees فِيin أثْوَابِهَاtheir robes الخُضَلِlush and moist
مَعَاطِفُ البَانِ فِي أثْوَابِهَا الخُضَلِ
and upon his radiant family and companions, as long as
And the God of al-Ghurr and the Companions, for as long as
the boughs of the bān trees sway in their lush robes.
The cloaks of clouds wore their green robes.
