وَاللَّهِ وَاللَّهِ وَاللَّهِ العَظِيمِ وَمَنْ

أنْشَا البَرِيَّةَ مِنْ طِينٍ وَأوْجَدهَا

أنْشَا البَرِيَّةَ مِنْ طِينٍ وَأوْجَدهَا

By God, by God, by God the Almighty, and by Him who

By God, by God, by God the Almighty

created humankind from clay and brought it into being,

And He who created mankind from clay and brought them into being

لَوْ أنَّ قَلْبِي عَلَى مَاء لَجَفَّفَهُ

لَوْ أنَّ قَلْبِي عَلَى مَاء لَجَفَّفَهُ

أوْ أنَّ دَمْعِي عَلَى نَارٍ لأخْمَدَهَا

أوْ أنَّ دَمْعِي عَلَى نَارٍ لأخْمَدَهَا

if my heart were upon water, it would dry it up,

If my heart were upon water it would dry it up

or if my tears were upon a fire, they would extinguish it.

Or if my tears were upon fire they would extinguish it
