قَالُوا بِمَا تَلْقَى الإلَ

قَالُوا بِمَا تَلْقَى الإلَ

هَ وَأنْتَ عَاصٍ مُعْتَدِ

هَ وَأنْتَ عَاصٍ مُعْتَدِ

They said, “With what will you meet God,

They said, "How do you meet God while you are disobedient and aggressive?"

while you are a sinner and a transgressor?”

So I said, "With the face that has never bowed down to other than Him, and with praise of His beloved, the best of mankind, Muhammad, Taha son of Abdullah, who will attain intercession on the Day of Judgment.

فَقُلْت بِالْوَجْهِ الَّذِي

فَقُلْت بِالْوَجْهِ الَّذِي

لِغَيْرِهِ لَمْ يَسْجُدِ

لِغَيْرِهِ لَمْ يَسْجُدِ

So I said, “With the face that

May God send blessings upon him as long as the darkness is lined with black, and upon his family and companions as long as the breeze plays with supple branches."

has never prostrated to anyone but Him,

وَبِامْتِدَاحِ حَبِيبِهِ

وَبِامْتِدَاحِ حَبِيبِهِ

خَيْرِ الأنَامِ مُحَمَّدِ

خَيْرِ الأنَامِ مُحَمَّدِ

and by praising His beloved,

the best of creation, Muhammad,

طَهَ بنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مَنْ

طَهَ بنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مَنْ

حَازَ الشَّفَاعَةَ فِي غَدِ

حَازَ الشَّفَاعَةَ فِي غَدِ

Taha, son of Abd Allah, who

has secured intercession for the morrow.”

صَلَّى عَلَيْهِ اللَّه مَا

صَلَّى عَلَيْهِ اللَّه مَا

كُحِلَ الظَّلاَم بِأسْوَدِ

كُحِلَ الظَّلاَم بِأسْوَدِ

May God bless him as long as

darkness is lined with black kohl,

وَالآلِ وَالأصْحَابِ مَا

وَالآلِ وَالأصْحَابِ مَا

لَعِبَ النَّسِيم بِأمْلَدِ

لَعِبَ النَّسِيم بِأمْلَدِ

and his family and companions, as long as

the breeze toys with a supple bough.
