وَقَفَاand followed الصبْحthe dawn حَلْبَةَracecourse الأثَرِthe trail
وَقَفَا الصبْح حَلْبَةَ الأثَرِ
بَعْدَafter ذَاكَthat الجِمَاحْthe headlong rush
بَعْدَ ذَاكَ الجِمَاحْ
And dawn followed the racecourse of the trail,
The dawn stood within the arena of influence
After that headlong rush.
After that tumult
وَعَلَىand over الجَوّthe sky طَائِرُbird البِكَرِthe early mornings
وَعَلَى الجَوّ طَائِرُ البِكَرِ
مَدَّstretched out طرفَtip الجَنَاحْthe wing
مَدَّ طرفَ الجَنَاحْ
And in the sky, the bird of early mornings
And in the air the bird of dawn
Stretched out the tip of its wing.
