وَسَائِلَةٍ تُذكِّرُنَا بِعَدْنٍ

وَسَائِلَةٍ تُذكِّرُنَا بِعَدْنٍ

وَقد جَمَعَتْ لنا حُسْنًا وَحُسْنَى

وَقد جَمَعَتْ لنا حُسْنًا وَحُسْنَى

And an inquiring woman reminds us of Aden,

With grace and charm she reminds us of paradise

And she has indeed united for us beauty and goodness.

Gathering beauty and loveliness for all to prize

فقلْ ما شئتَ من لُطْفٍ وَظَرْفٍ

فقلْ ما شئتَ من لُطْفٍ وَظَرْفٍ

وقلْ ما شئتَ منْ سِرٍّ وَمَعْنَى

وقلْ ما شئتَ منْ سِرٍّ وَمَعْنَى

So say what you will of grace and wit,

Say what you wish with elegance and tact

And say what you will of mystery and meaning.

Speak as you wish with meaning and with act
