وفوقٌ بانْ قدُّ والأسمر

وفوقٌ بانْ قدُّ والأسمر

تفِيفِيحْ خَدُّو الأحْمَرْ ينَوَّرْ

تفِيفِيحْ خَدُّو الأحْمَرْ ينَوَّرْ

And above the bān-tree of his dusky stature,

With rosy cheek and graceful neck

The little apples of his red cheek bloom;

Of dusk compared, as stars that deck

وبستانْ وَجْهُو الأزْهر

وبستانْ وَجْهُو الأزْهر

عَلِيهْ سَيَّجْ غَدِيرْ بعَنْبَرْ

عَلِيهْ سَيَّجْ غَدِيرْ بعَنْبَرْ

And the garden of his radiant face—

The Garden fair his face appears

A rivulet has fenced it round with ambergris.

Fenced round with curling jet black hairs
